The University of Rehabilitation Sciences is jointly established by central ministries and commissions such as China Disabled Persons' Federation and the National Health Commission and Shandong Province. Located in Qingdao National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, it is the first university named after “rehabilitation” in China even in the world. The University of Rehabilitation Sciences adheres to the interdisciplinary integration by actively building a disciplinary system featuring rehabilitation sciences and integrating medicine, science, engineering, management, education, sociology and other disciplines.
